What makes this really bad is that we usually get up between 4-5 in the morning to do Christmas Morning.
So this year to prevent that from happening again, I began working on presents in late September/early October because I had a list of a whopping 22 presents to make!
In this post I am going to share with you five super great and easy patterns that make great gifts that are simple for beginners and fun for advanced knitters too!
The first pattern I will share is called Wheat by Tincanknits. I have knit one of these so far and have one more that needs to be started and finished. It is a super simple scarf involving garter and stockinette stitch that will leave you feeling satisfied and stylish when you wear it around!

The second pattern is a hat, called Barley, that is also by Tincanknits. The pattern is versatile in its sizes (ranging from a toddler size to an adult large size). The pattern includes a combination of stockinette and garter stitches as well as a simple and easy to remember pattern repeat for the body of the hat.

The third pattern is a coffee cozy called Main Street by tincanknits. This pattern is perfect for all of the coffee junkies in your life. The pattern is one size but it fits every size of the generic disposable coffee cups. A desirable thing about this pattern is that it reduces the amount of cardboard sleeves used and thrown away, helping reduce negative impact on the environment!

The next pattern is a small toy I knit for my baby cousin Cyrus, called Henry's bunny. It was stuffed with some spinning fiber I had lying around. The pattern is knit in one piece aside from the legs and is very simple.

The final pattern is a knitted dish cloth called Molly Weasley's Dish Cloth. It is a pattern I made up and is very simple (however, this is a common way of making dish clothes so there's probably some just like it else where).
This pattern can be seen below along with an image.
